Jacob Triplets: Lambing During Lockdown

We are a little behind uploading our lambing videos thanks to us getting so caught up in the excitement of Springtime on the Farm but that means we have an amazing bank of videos we've filmed over the last two weeks to share with ...read more

Cannon Hall Farm TV

Tune in to our next episode of Cannon Hall Farm TV where we reflect on our week long appearance on Springtime on the Farm, we TB test our cows, PLUS Farmer David has an idea to keep Ted show-ready.

Sheep C-Section

** WARNING GRAPHIC CONTENT **

We've been looking through our archives and realised that we had an unusual sheep cesearean last year and didn't share the footage!

This was taken in 2019 and features Donaldson's Vets who appeared with us on Springtime on the Farm.

Panda Lamb – Lambing During Lockdown

Farmer Ruth is on the night shift and she's got Panda Lamb in her arms.

We've never before seen a lamb feed like this one does - it is highly unusual!

The glove of love: Springtime on the Farm

If you tuned in to Springtime on the Farm this week you'll have heard the cringe-worthy mention of Farmer Roger's glove of love.

If you didn't: it's EXACTLY as bad as it sounds.

However, we are thrilled to report that Farmer Dale is here to prove the dividends are really paying off with this bumper litter of 16 piglets!

Cow Calving on CCTV

Join Farmer Rob as he introduces some absolutely spectacular CCTV footage from our roundhouse which shows when our newest calf was born.

It's something we rarely get to see as our cows tend to give birth privately when we've gone.

As for that mummy instinct - just look how quickly she turns around.

Captain Tom: Lambing in Lockdown

(For those who'd like to know, our Captain Tom is ...read more

Orchid and Will: Springtime on the Farm

"He had legs like an antique table.."

Farmer Robert's description of Will our Shire horse when he was first born is the best and most descriptive we've heard.

We are happy to report he's improving by the day though.

Watch this bonus video for more on Orchid and Will - the Shire's of Cannon Hall Farm.

Kelvin Fletcher: Springtime on the Farm

In 2018 we met Kelvin Fletcher for the first time as he joined us for Springtime on the Farm - he lambed his first sheep with us, calling her after his daughter.

Two years on and Marnie Molly has had babies of her own - here's a recap. ...read more

Bottle Fed Lambs (Lambing in Lockdown)

As part of our Lambing During Lockdown we've been sharing all our farmer unsung heroes - these guys have worked tirelessly to make sure the animals have the very best chance.

We've had a lot to bottle feed this year, it's time-consuming back-breaking work. But who can complain when you get to cuddle a lamb?

Dutch Spotted Lambs

We were so pleased with our Dutch Spotted sheep being shown on Springtime on the Farm last night - and Vincent's first babies are already being born.

Just look at these gorgeous babies we have living with us now.

You need to see the sweetest moment at the end :-)

zander

Zander the Alpaca: Springtime on the Farm

They are normally the best of friends but Zander apparently likes to play up for the cameras.

We can't decide if he's dancing, boxing, or just making sure we all admire his glory.

Poor Farmer Rob (laugh!) couldn't believe it - he ...read more
