Sheep Makeover in the Roundhouse

Farmer Charlotte is up at the roundhouse giving the Dutch Spotted Sheep a makeover ready for an upcoming sale day. We are washing and trimming them to make sure they look their absolute best.

Silver our Shire has a poorly foot!

Farmer Rob has discovered Silver, our Shire, has an infection in her foot, which is badly swollen. We need to make sure we tackle this quickly so it doesn't turn in to something more serious - but can we convince her to take her medicine?

Finian and Cilla – our Shetland foals

Finian, our Shetland foal, is proving to be a proper little firecracker and is proving to be best pals with Cilla (whether she likes it or not.) He sure is a lively one.

The barns are a quieter place!

If you've visited us so far this Summer, you'll have noticed our barns are a much quieter place - but it won't be for long as we have Jess (our miniature donkey) and Casey (our Shetland pony) who are due to have foals very soon.

Join Farmer Rob as he checks in with the mums-to-be.

Is Sultan ready for the main event?

Our pedigree shorthorn bull Sultan is loving live in our grass fields, so what better time to introduce him to the rest of the herd? Join Farmer Rob as he takes the cows out to pastures new for Summer.

Extra Training for Murphy

It's a happy day for Highland bull Murphy who is finally getting to enoy the lush surroundings of our family farm.

He will be going to meet up with some of Ted's cows, so we're hoping they don't miss him too much.

Murphy's had a bit of extra training, so is it paying off?

Sultan’s Big Day

Sultan is back at the farm after his triumphant first appearance at the Great Yorkshire Show.

He's now going out to grass to enjoy meeting his cows at Cannon Hall Farm - can they help get him match fit?

Goldilock’s Porridge Time!

Goldilock's Porridge Time! Our donkeys are going to spend some time gadding about in the fields as they get turned out for summer - and the conditions are perfect. What will Gary the donkey reckon?

Topping the grass: first time in 20 years!

It's the first time in 20 years that he's been let loose on the tractor - how will Farmer Rob fare filling in for Farmer Dave?

Join him topping as he sorts our grass to be the most palatable it can be for the animals.

A narrow window of opportunity for calves

Lady, our Highland cow, is off to spend some time with Murphy so join Farmer Rob as we check in with our farm's most famous breed as we talk the birds and the bees. It was incredibly windy so we hope you can make out what we are saying.
