Our key workers on site today had a special treat from their colleagues – health and safety manager John Hopkinson.

John, who is from Tankersley and plays in a local brass band, fetched his cornet in to work to perform a special musical tribute, with a wartime flavour to mark VE Day.

Plenty of farmers and animals came to the field to watch his emotional performance.
