FAQs

Are there minimum numbers?

Our parties are bookable from groups as small as 10, and as large as 20. We do try to be as flexible as possible.

What are the costs and deposits?

Our after school play party is £14.95 per child and includes one child entry and one accompanying adult free of charge, food for the party guests and use of a space for your party via reserved seating. This option includes admission after 3.15pm only.

Our weekend / school holiday play party is £19.95 per child and includes one child entry and one accompanying adult free of charge, food for the party guests and use of a space for your party via reserved seating. This option includes all day farm admission.

A deposit of £50 is required to secure your date. The remaining balance, based on the final guest count and food orders, is due 10 days prior to the event date.

Any additional charges incurred on the day of the party must be settled in full before departure.

If you choose our exclusive use package, payment for the upgrade must be made upon first booking.

How long can we stay in the farm?

The after school play package is only bookable for parties to take place after 3.15pm and admissions will not be allowed before this time. You can stay until the farm closes at 6pm.

Only our weekend and school holiday play parties include all day farm admission.

Can we bring extra guests?

Additional guests like siblings and more parents are very welcome and are charged at £4 per person for after school parties and £7.95 per person for weekend and holiday parties. No food is included for these guests.

What decorations can we bring?

You can bring table decorations and balloons. You can also bring your own cake if you require and candles. We will supply a knife for you to cut the cake and share it out. You also have the option to purchase one of our delicious bake room cakes.

What’s the menu?

Our delicious food is served buffet style with choice to suit everyone. Party guests will be provided with unlimited juice, carrot and cucumber sticks and a tub of ice cream (vanilla, strawberry or chocolate).

The buffet includes:

Chicken Nuggets contains WHEAT (GLUTEN), CELERY

Chips

Margherita Pizza contains WHEAT (GLUTEN), MILK, CELERY

A selection of sandwiches such as jam, ham and cheese. (WHEAT, MILK, SOYA)

Adult food and drinks can be purchased as usual from the usual till points.

Don’t forget we do have some food upgrade options such as slush and birthday cake.

Cannon Hall Farm prepares and handles a large range of foods and drinks on site. As a result, it’s not possible to guarantee food and drinks from any of our outlets are free from allergens due to the significant cross-contamination risks from products, people and the environment. Therefore we cannot provide an allergen free meal

Are all your facilities open?

Yes and our birthday party guests are welcome to explore our soft play centre, outdoor playgrounds, mammal house and reptile house plus take advantage of our talks and races programme.

Is there a time limit?

No you are welcome to stay at our farm as long as you wish until closing time. Visitors are not monitored for time and you can come and go as you please. The only time limit you have is on your party rooms and reserved seating which is 1 hour and 45 minutes per party.

What happens next?

Once you have booked your date and paid your £50 deposit, you will be sent a follow up email guiding you through the rest of the process. Don’t forget that balance is due ten days before your party date.

Do I have to pay for car parking?

Yes, everyone attending will need to pay for parking, standard charges apply.

What are the rules of play?

Our staff are here to help you ensure the safety of your children. Please help them by making sure your children are suitably dressed to ride the slides in the indoor play areas.

To avoid friction burns, long trousers and long sleeves must be worn with tops tucked into trousers and socks covering the feet. 

If wearing a skirt or dress please wear tights (not nylon) or leggings and a top that fully covers the person’s arms.

Children with bare arms or legs will NOT be allowed to ride any of the slides.

Shiny clothes such as football kits, shell suits, rain coats, nylon tights and clothing made from polyester etc. are not allowed as the materials can heat up when using a slide.

Children over the age of 12 are not allowed on the play frames.

Where can I find the terms and conditions?

1. Booking and Deposit:

 A £50 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your party reservation. The deposit is refundable in the event of cancellation, subject to our minimum cancellation notice period. The deposit will be deducted from the final balance. 

2. Final Numbers:

Final guest count are required 10 days before the event date.  Any adjustments to these details after this deadline should be communicated to us in writing or over the phone. 

3. Balance Payment:

The remaining balance, based on the final guest count and food orders, is due 10 days prior to the event date.

Any additional charges incurred on the day of the party must be settled in full before departure. 

4. No-Shows Policy:

 If any paid for child or guest cannot attend on the day of the party, we will issue the party organiser with a complimentary pass for a return visit, redeemable at a later date. Passes can be redeemed into a Cannon Hall Farm Passport account to be redeemed at a later date subject to our terms and conditions.

5. Cancellation Policy:

 For cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate a reschedule or provide an alternative solution.

 Cancellations made within 10 days of the party date will result in the forfeiture of the £50 deposit.

Exclusive Use! Did you know that you can come for an early bird party from 9am and have exclusive use of our Hungry Llama soft play centre? The additional fee for exclusive use is £200 per party.
