Some of the attractions at Cannon Hall Farm
Welcome to Cannon Hall Farm - all the fun of the farm

Cannon Hall Farm welcomes over 40,000 school children each year making it one of the region's top educational attractions.

Our one-hour guided tour offers an illuminating educational experience designed to fulfil many of the requirements of the national curriculum.

Then the children can enjoy our Adventure Playground. It’s one of the biggest and best in the region with £150,000 of investment over the winter of 2006/7 there are new slides, towers and climbing frames to explore and excite the most adventurous of children.

For rainy days we have large purpose built undercover picnic areas.

We provide a quality and value for money experience in a package featuring plenty of animal interaction with lots of scope for work back in the classroom.

In 2005 we won the title “Best Farm For Schools” in the UK.

A day at Cannon Hall Farm is full of possibilities for follow on work and a great investment in the future of your children.

Dozens of schools visit each year because they know we offer the best combination for schools, education and entertainment side by side.

We do all we can to make your visit run smoothly and be safe, fun and informative.

Your coach will be met in the car park by one of our tour guides who will tell you how your day has been organised and show you the picnic areas where you will be able to leave your packed lunches.

Our pre-ordering service for ice creams and souvenirs helps to keep your visit stress free - Tel 01226 790427.

Cost is £3.95 per person for groups of 20 or more.

This website, developed by the farming charity LEAF (Linking Environment and Farming), is a fun way to find out about agriculture and the environment, where you can see and hear about how food is grown with care for wildlife.

The Virtual Farm Walk covers crop and livestock farming, you can visit different parts of the farm, meet the animals, look at machinery, and two farmers are on hand to explain what is going on. There are lots of things to do and activity sheets that can be downloaded.
