Sheep Shearing Festival – May 25 to June 2

Join Farmer David and the rest of the Cannon Hall Farm family for bags of farm fun – where farmers will be shearing our sheep to prepare them for Summer.

Help us celebrate our 30th anniversary in style – and spend the day making perfect family memories.

Alongside our new lambs and daily sheep talks, we will be doing shearing demonstrations every day in the Roundhouse.

Hear about how our sheep’s wool is used to make carpets and yarn and see Farmer David shearing our sheep.

This activity is all included with your farm admission, so you can also spend the day having fun on our farm, visiting the animals, experiencing our amazing play areas and watching milking demonstrations, sheep and ferret racing and tractor rides, plus watching meerkat feeding sessions.

Our reptile house will showcase our team-working ants and some fascinating other creatures – and a farmer will be in there every day allowing petting and handling for the more curious visitors.

Entry into the soft play is also included – plus there’s a free quiz trail to help keep the kids occupied.
