NEW RESTAURANT OPENING SOON
OUR TEAROOM IS OPEN AS NORMAL

Work is underway on a complete revamp of the tearoom at the moment and we will open, hopefully before Easter as the White Bull Restaurant. Named after Grandpa, Charlie Nicholson’s prizewinning bull Sam. The restaurant will have a great new menu and provide a fitting backdrop for our bistro nights as well as our busy day time trade. The same design team who helped us with The Hungry Llama and The Farm Shop are working on this latest project and we think the results will be stunning. The tearoom is open as normal at the moment and we will endeavour to complete all the changes with a minimum of disruption.

After winning a livestock show Sam would be given a pint of beer in the beer tent as a treat.  Farmer Roger tells us he would throw back his head, mouth open ready for his celebratory drink. From what we hear both Sam the bull, and Charlie were real characters.

We may have to close for a few days in the coming weeks and that information will be posted in advance on the website.
